First Precinct officers arrived at The Lucky Deli, 939 Nassau Rd. shortly after 1:30 a.m. after receiving notification from the county's ShotSpotter detection system, police said.

Once there, officers learned than an 18-year-old male had been shot in the foot and taken in a private vehicle to a hospital.

Police said a "light colored minivan or SUV was seen leaving the scene with six male suspects," and three .32 caliber shell casings were found at the scene.
