Two teenagers are facing charges after stealing the pocketbook of a woman early Saturday morning in Roosevelt, Nassau County police said.

The victim, 43, was walking in front of 326 Nassau Rd. at 12:30 a.m. when she was approached by Daron Hill, 16 of Jerusalem Avenue in Uniondale, and a 14-year-old male whose name police did not release because of his age. The teens grabbed the victim's pocketbook and fled the scene on foot, police said.

Members of Nassau's Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team located the suspects at the intersection of Lakewood Avenue and Nassau Road and took them into custody at 1:15 a.m.

The victim was not injured, and the pocketbook was recovered, police said.

Hill was charged with second-degree robbery and will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday. The juvenile was charged with second-degree robbery and will appear in Family Court on Sept. 4.
