Nassau County police are looking for suspects in the vandalism of seven public pools in Levittown early Wednesday.

According to Second Squad detectives, a Town of Hempstead worker notified police that between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. someone had poured crushed black rubber into seven pools in Levittown. The rubber caused an undisclosed amount of damage, police stated. The damaged pools are: Slate Lane Pool, Acorn Lane Pool, Bluegrass Lane Pool, North Village Green Pool, Azalea Road Pool, East Village Green Pool and West Village Green Pool.

Police are asking anyone with information about these cases of criminal mischief to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
