Police: Woman stole cash from ex's home

A Wantagh woman who took more than $1,000 in cash from her former boyfriend's apartment faces burglary charges, Nassau County police said Tuesday.

Victoria Vaccaro, 20, of 2732 Riverside Dr., took the money Saturday, after entering her ex-boyfriend's apartment on Twin Lane South in Wantagh, police said.

Vaccaro did not have permission to enter the residence, police said, and was arrested at about 6:15 p.m. on Park Lane.

She will be arraigned Tuesday on a second-degree burglary charge at First District Court in Hempstead.
