Police: Woman struck by car in Woodmere
A woman was airlifted to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow after being struck by a car in Woodmere late Monday afternoon, police said.
The identity of the woman was not released.
The extent of her injuries -- and, her condition -- were not immediately known Tuesday.
Police said no charges were filed in the crash. The investigation into the accident is continuing.
