A Queens man was arrested Thursday and charged with stealing more than $1,000 from the Target store where he worked in Valley Stream, police said.

Travis Limehouse, 20, of Rosedale, was arrested at the store on West Sunrise Highway at 10:40 a.m.

Police said Limehouse, employed as a sales associate at the Target store, falsified voids three times between August and September - and that those voids amounted to a loss of $1,060.

Limehouse is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying of business records, Nassau County police said. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled for arraignment in First District Court in Hempstead on Oct. 14, police said.

Police said an internal investigation uncovered the thefts.
