Missing Port Washington man with Alzheimer’s located, cops say
A Port Washington man with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing Friday afternoon has been found, police said Saturday morning.
Frederick Cadet, 76, of Beverly Road, was last seen walking from his home around 1 p.m., Nassau County police said in a news release. He was found in Saddle Rock at around 8:50 a.m., a police spokeswoman said. He did not appear to be injured but was taken to a hospital for evaluation, she said.
