Nassau police said Sunday night two eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway were closed due to pothole damage.

The right and center lanes of the expressway from Exit 44, Route 135, Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway, to Exit 45, Manetto Hill Road in Woodbury, were closed as of 7:30 p.m. Sunday, with no indication when they would reopen, a police spokeswoman said. She said it was unclear when road crews would be able to repair the potholes.
