Legislators want to create a database in Nassau County of racially restrictive covenants

Nassau Legis. Carrié Solages and Arnold Drucker on Monday introduced legislation that would create a database in Nassau County of racially restrictive covenants. The legislation is in response to Newsday's Long Island DIvided series that found evidence of widespread separate and unequal treatment of minority potential homebuyers and minority communities on Long Island.
