A Department of Motor Vehicles employee from Hempstead pleaded guilty Tuesday to fondling a woman as he gave her a road test, Westchester County prosecutors said.
Jean Almonacy, 55, pleaded guilty to two counts of forcible touching in Westchester County Court.
As part of a plea deal, he is scheduled to be sentenced to six years' probation under sex-offender conditions when he returns to court Aug. 5, according to the Westchester County district attorney's office.
Prosecutors said Almonacy touched a woman during a road test in Yorktown on Sept. 3.
Almonacy has been suspended from the DMV without pay since September 2013, a department spokesman said Wednesday.
Any additional action by the DMV regarding Almonacy's employment status "is pending his sentencing," the spokesman said.
