An East Meadow man has been arrested on charges that he exposed himself to two teenage girls at the local high school, according to court documents.

The incident, involving a 16- and a 17-year-old, happened at 101 Carman Avenue, the address of East Meadow High School, about 5:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the document.

Michael Daly, 33, was arrested and charged with two counts of public lewdness and one of endangering the welfare of a child, the document said.

According to the document, signed by Nassau County Police Officer John A. Villano, Daly exposed his genitals and "touch[ed] himself while performing a lewd act in view of the victims."

He was arrested about 34 minutes later, according to online court records. Neither the court document nor a police news release about the arrest says how the police tracked down Daly.

The document, provided by Nassau District Attorney spokeswoman Miriam Sholder, says Daly signed a "statement of admission," forming the basis of the charges, as did "recovered video" from Daly's phone, and depositions of what appears to the two girls, though their names are blacked out.

He was arraigned Sunday before Judge Martin J. Massell of First District Court, where an order of protection was issued in the case, according to the online court records. The case is due back in court Oct. 15, according to those records.

The charges Daly faces are ineligible for pretrial jailing, and he was freed, according to Sholder.
