A Queens man was arrested and charged with grand larceny and credit card fraud after he was found to have bilked a Westbury hotel out of $18,000 in services, Nassau County police said.

Police said that, during questioning of Andrew Henry, 38, of 42-06A Bell Blvd., about fraudulent card use at the Hilton Garden Inn in Westbury, investigators learned the man also was using a second hotel room in East Garden City -- where, they said, he was producing counterfeit cards, documents and identification cards.

Henry was charged with third-degree grand larceny, possession of a forgery device and five counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument. He was arraigned Friday in First District Court in Hempstead and held on a $7,500 bail.

Police said that Henry was arrested Thursday about 11:30 a.m. after the investigation into the fraudulent use of the cards at the Hilton Garden Inn, where police said he had been staying since April.

Police then found that Henry also had rented a room at the LaQuinta Inn on Stewart Avenue in East Garden City where detectives then found what were described as "numerous fraudulent IDs, official documents, including counterfeit driver's licenses and fraudulent credit cards." Also in the room, police said, were "materials and apparatus" used in the "production of counterfeiting and forging documents and IDs."
