A Queens motorist was arrested on assault and driving while intoxicated charges after he fought with officers who had pulled him over in Roslyn Heights for unsafe driving, Nassau police said.

One suffered bruising on her face and injuries to her knees and right hand; she was treated at a hospital and released, police said.

Khondker was charged with second-degree assault, unlawful flight from a police officer, resisting arrest and DWI, police said.
