A 31-year-old Queens woman was killed early Sunday when she lost control of her motorcycle and struck a telephone pole in Inwood, Nassau police said.

Melisa Harris of Beach 40th Street, Far Rockaway, suffered head and facial trauma and also fractured her right wrist and right femur when she crashed the 2003 Suzuki motorcycle westbound on Sheridan Boulevard about 2:50 a.m.

A Nassau police ambulance transported Harris to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 4:15 a.m.

Harris' 41-year-old female passenger suffered a concussion.

The Inwood Fire Department brought her to a hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

No charges were filed and the investigation is continuing, police said.
