Racist graffiti found in Rockville Centre
A racist term was spray painted along with other graffiti markings on several fences in Rockville Centre, Nassau police said Thursday.
The racist term was discovered written in blue paint on a residential home's fence on Hempstead Avenue Wednesday, police said, and additional spray-painted graffiti was discovered the same day on two other fences, one on Bulson Road and the other on Wright Road.
First squad detectives said they are investigating the spray painting as a bias crime and aggravated harassment.
Investigators asked that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
