Rain-slicked roads figure to make for a messy commute Monday - for those who have to work on this national holiday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
That rain is expected to taper off later in the day as temperatures rise into the low 40s, according to forecasters from the National Weather Service.
Forecasters said rain is possible again Tuesday with a slight chance of snow on Wednesday, followed by freezing rain as temperatures hover around the freezing mark.
Later in the week, expect lows to dip back into the mid-20s at night - while staying above freezing during the day.
