New Hyde Park bank robber wore wig, blue hospital scrubs, cops say
A man wearing blue hospital scrubs robbed a North New Hyde Park bank Tuesday morning, Nassau police said.
The robber entered the TD Bank at 110 Hillside Ave. just before noon and gave a teller a note demanding money, police said. He got the money, then ran east on Hillside Avenue, police said.
The suspect also wore an Afro-type wig and appeared to be in his 20s, police said. He has a thin build and was about 6 feet tall, police said.
