AT&T in Rockville Centre robbed at gunpoint, Nassau police say
Police are searching for three male suspects, at least one of them armed with a black handgun, who robbed an AT&T store Wednesday evening in Rockville Centre before fleeing in a silver vehicle.
Nassau County police said the armed robbery took place at the store at 237 Sunrise Hwy. at 8:04 p.m.
Police said two employees — a man, 31, and a woman, 23 — were in the store at the time and that both were ordered to the back by the suspects, who all wore dark clothing. No one was injured.
It was not immediately clear what was taken.
Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
