Rollover crash cleared from parkway in Nassau
A single-vehicle rollover accident that blocked the ramp connecting the eastbound Southern State Parkway to the northbound Meadowbrook early Thursday has been cleared, the New York State Department of Transportation said.
State Police said no one was believed to have been seriously injured in the accident, which occurred at about 6:30 a.m. where the two parkways intersect in North Merrick.
Traffic cameras in the area showed traffic backed up on both parkways, and the DOT said lanes were blocked by emergency equipment.
