Cops: One reported pinned in accident in Roosevelt

Emergency personnel responded early Monday afternoon to the scene of an accident in Roosevelt where one person was reported pinned, Nassau County police said Monday.
The crash, involving a commercial truck and a car, occurred at 12:18 p.m. near the intersection of East Pennywood Avenue and Nassau Road, police said.
The extent of any injuries was not immediately clear.
Police said responders were trying to free the pinned person, but said details were still emerging.
