Roosevelt crash leaves two people injured, police say

Two people were injured when the cars they were riding in collided on a Roosevelt street Wednesday evening, Nassau police said.
Police were withholding the identities of the victims in the 6:13 p.m. crash at Nassau Road and East Centennial Avenue, but their injuries were not believed to be serious, police said.
The occupants of the cars were taken to a hospital, according to police.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
