Police are searching for two men who exited a gray or silver Chevrolet then robbed a man walking along a street in Roosevelt at gunpoint Wednesday night, stealing his wallet, cash -- even studded earrings.

The victim, identified only as a 32-year-old man, was not injured in the armed robbery, police said.

Nassau County police said the incident took place on Lincoln Avenue, near Astor Place, at about 10:45 p.m. They said the two men exited the Chevy -- possibly, a Chevrolet Impala -- and one of them flashed a handgun, before both men rifled the victim's pockets.

The pair stole the victim's wallet, including cash, his driver's license and an ATM card.

Police said they even stole studded earrings.

The two then fled westbound on Lincoln Avenue.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the crime to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
