A 33-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg Friday night in Roosevelt, and police are looking for a gray Honda Civic seen fleeing, Nassau County police said.

Police responded to a call about a ShotSpotter System indication near East Greenwich Avenue about 10:34 p.m. Police found the victim with a gunshot wound to his right thigh. Police took the man to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

First Squad detectives are investigating and ask that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
