Route 107 in Brookville reopened Monday afternoon more than 12 hours after a car ran off the road and hit a utility pole, police said.

The driver of the car suffered minor injuries in the accident, which occurred about 12:30 a.m., a spokesman for the Old Brookville Police Department said.

The road was closed northbound at Fruitledge Road and southbound at Wheatley Road, he said.

The road was expected to stay closed while utility crews worked at the scene, the spokesman said.
