Jericho Turnpike eastbound at Cambridge Avenue in Old Westbury has reopened after being closed to traffic Sunday morning due to a downed tree in the roadway, police said.

There were no injuries.

Old Westbury police said the tree fell shortly before 8 a.m. and that the roadway was closed a short time later, but reopened around 9:30 a.m.

Police said the tree, which fell for an unknown reason, was cleared.
