Results were announced on Friday afternoon in a race for a board trustee position in the Seaford School District that was too close to call earlier this week.

Incumbent John DelGiudice surpassed incumbent Linda Hurley, 1,265 to 1,249, to join Bruce Kahn in securing the two three-year terms that were up open. DelGiudice and Hurley had been separated by fewer than 19 votes. After the tally of affidavit ballots, Kahn's vote total jumped to 1,528, while those for Susan Ruona, who was defeated, rose to 1,062, district officials said.

In addition, the district said that vote totals also changed for its approved $53,614,962 budget with 1,601 residents voting in favor and 1,438 against.
