Four Long Island Bus routes are set to undergo some changes Saturday that could impact customers, agency officials said Friday.

The N4, N19, N20 and N21 will all see "service revisions that will provide faster and more reliable bus service," LI Bus spokesman Jerry Mikorenda said.

The N4, which travels between Jamaica and Freeport, will lose 11 stops in the eastbound directions and nine in the westbound direction. The changes aim to reduce stops that are close together, mostly along Merrick Road and Merrick Boulevard.

The N19, which goes between Freeport and Babylon, will not travel along Deer Park Avenue. As a result, two stops will be eliminated. Mikorenda said the changes aim to "get people to the Babylon LIRR faster by avoiding Deer Park Avenue traffic."

The N20 and N21 will not be allowed to turn from Main Street in Flushing onto Roosevelt Avenue for at least the next six months due to a New York City Department of Transportation project. A new stop will be added on Roosevelt Avenue near Union Street.
