Shots fired at Roosevelt home
Police are searching for a gray Honda whose occupants fired gunshots at an unoccupied vehicle and a home Thursday in Roosevelt.
Police said the incident occurred on West Fulton Avenue near Nassau Road at 6:20 p.m.
Officers responding to a call of shots fired found that "an undetermined amount of gunshots" had been fired at a vehicle on West Fulton and said shots also had been fired at a nearby home. Two men were spotted fleeing the scene in a gray Honda, police said.
Police said the model of Honda was unknown.
No shell casings were found at the scene and police said no one was injured by gunfire.
The gunshots did not activate a "Shot Spotter" system in use in Roosevelt, police said. It was not clear why.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
