Signal delays on the Ronkonkoma branch
A signal problem was delaying the LIRR's Ronkonkoma branch up to 15 minutes Wednesday morning.
The railroad said that a defective signal in Central Islip was to blame, but said emergency repairs would not be made until after the morning rush hour.
