Southbound Route 135 in Plainview closed again

As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, all southbound lanes at Exit 11 of the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway in Plainview were closed, as a tractor trailer involved in a midday collision with another vehicle was being removed, Nassau County police said.

The lanes were first closed after the 12:05 p.m. accident, with the left and center lanes briefly reopened and now closed again, police said.

Police could not say if there were any injuries or provide further details.

One person was taken to Nassau County Medical Center, according to the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department.
