Crash prompts closure of Southern State Parkway at Exit 31
The eastbound lanes of the Southern State Parkway were closed Saturday evening at Exit 31 due to a crash investigation, State Police said.
The crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. just west of Route 110 in South Farmingdale. Westbound lanes remained open, police said.
Exit 31 on the Southern State is for Bethpage State Parkway.
Police declined to release any additional details about the crash.
