Three of four eastbound lanes of the Southern State Parkway were closed for more than an hour Friday morning in North Valley Stream because of an accident involving multiple vehicles, officials said.

The accident was reported at 6:30 a.m. between exits 13 and 14, according to the state Department of Transportation website informny.com.

All lanes had reopened as of 7:56 a.m., according to the website.

State Police confirmed the lane closures and accident, but had no other details.
