State trooper injured in crash on Meadowbrook Parkway, authorities say

A New York State trooper was involved in a collision while driving on the Meadowbrook State Parkway early Monday, authorities said.

Authorities said the trooper was heading north near exit M6 in Uniondale sometime after midnight when the accident happened. The trooper was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
