Sunrise Highway in Seaford reopens after crash, police say

The eastbound lanes of Sunrise Highway at Seamans Neck Road in Seaford have reopened Saturday afternoon after a crash between a tractor trailer and a van was cleared, Nassau County Police said.
The operator of the van was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatning injuries after the collision about 9:45 a.m., police said. The lanes were closed while police tended to the scene and were reopened about 1 p.m.
Further details on how the accident occurred were not immediately available Saturday afternoon.
