Nassau County police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man in a surveillance image who they say cashed forged checks against the account of a business based in Westbury. The suspect was seen on surveillance video cashing two forged checks worth a total of $8,000 at two banks in Queens. Now, Nassau County police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man in the surveillance image who they say cashed the forged checks against the account of a business based in Westbury.

The checks were cashed at two Chase bank locations in Queens, one at 1 p.m. Jan. 28 and the other the next day at 11 a.m.

Police did not name the bank branch locations.

Police ask anyone with information about the incidents to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
