Suspect sought in attempted ATM robbery
Crime Stoppers and Nassau County police released photographs Wednesday of a man who tried to rob a woman at a bank ATM in Hewlett in August.
The attempted robbery in the Fourth Precinct happened at about 12:15 p.m. on Aug. 21 at the Chase Bank at 1735 Peninsula Blvd., police said.
Police said the suspect threatened the woman with a gun "which was not displayed."
