Police are searching for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven on Grand Avenue in Baldwin Tuesday at 2:15 a.m.

The man was 20 to 25 years old, about 5-foot-6 and 170 pounds, Nassau County police said. He was wearing a black ski cap.

Police said he displayed a black handgun, demanded cash and fled north on Grand Avenue.

Police said two employees, ages 46 and 52, were in the store at the time of the robbery. Neither was injured.

Police did not say how much money was stolen.

They're asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
