A knife-wielding man robbed a cabdriver of $100 on Tuesday in Valley Stream, Nassau County police said.

The cabdriver picked up a fare at 145th Street in Queens at about 10:25 p.m., police said, and the passenger asked to be taken to Flower Road, south of Sunrise Highway near Mill Road.

Once there, the passenger asked the cabbie, a man, 37, to drive to the end of Bittersweet Lane.

The passenger then placed a knife on the cabbie's shoulder and demanded cash.

Police said the driver turned over $100, and the passenger ran off on the dead-end road.

The driver was not injured. He described the suspect as being in his 20s with a thin build and wearing a hoodie.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will remain confidential.
