Suspect sought in South Farmingdale robbery
Nassau police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a 43-year-old man outside a South Farmingdale gas station Friday night after indicating he had a gun.
The suspect, with his hand in his pocket, approached the male victim in the rear of 630 Main St. shortly after 8 p.m., implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash, police said. The victim complied, although no weapon was shown, police said.
The suspect fled on foot westbound on Lambert Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
No injuries were reported.
