Nassau County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking the public's help in identifying a man in connection with a grand larceny that occurred in Garden City.

Between midnight and 8 a.m. on Nov. 27, police say an unknown man took a wallet from the glove box of a vehicle parked in an unlocked garage on Second Street. The subject was later seen on video surveillance making purchases using the victim's credit cards at the Roosevelt Field mall.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.

Suffolk County Police and their Crime Stoppers department are seeking the person responsible for using another individual's information to obtain credit cards used to make purchases on four dates.

On July 25, police say the victim was notified that his personal information was used to obtain store credit cards at Toys R Us and Kohl's. The following day the suspect was caught on video allegedly making purchases at a Kohl's in Shirley, and was seen leaving in an older-model black Honda Civic.

Anyone able to identify the suspect is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS.
