An 18-year-old walking along a street in Valley Stream late Thursday night was attacked, assaulted and robbed of his iPhone, police said.

Nassau County police said the robbers are still at-large.

The robbery occurred just before midnight on West Circle Drive near the Best Buy store.

Police said the 18-year-old was walking on the drive when an attacker, described as a 6-foot-1 teen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, approached from behind and punched him in the face. A second attacker then confronted the victim, while the first took his phone, police said. The two attackers then jumped into a waiting Toyota sedan and fled the scene.

Police described the car as an older model, but had no additional description of the car.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
