<a href="/topics//Nassau_County,_NY">Nassau</a> County police are asking for the public's help in an investigation of a robbery that occurred late Friday night in Uniondale. 
 Detectives said a 22-year-old man was walking on Clinton Avenue just before midnight when five men punched and kicked him repeatedly. 
 One of the men took the victim's <a href="/topics//Cellular_Phones">cellphone</a> from his pocket, then all the subjects fled on foot southbound on Clinton Avenue. 
 The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was treated for a laceration to his left leg. There was no further description of the subjects. 
 Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to contact <a href="/topics//Nassau_County,_NY">Nassau</a> County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All <a href="/topics//Callers_(musician)">callers</a> will remain anonymous.
