SUV crashes into Seaford home

The occupants of a house on Shore Place in Seaford got a rude awakening Thursday when an out-of-control SUV crashed into their home.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at 12:10 a.m., Nassau County police said.
The SUV crashed through a front window into the home and a 911 call placed moments later reported a smell of gas, police said. Police said emergency services unit personnel were dispatched to the scene, as was an ambulance.
The house was evacuated, police said. No one in the house was injured.
Police said it was not immediately clear how the crash happened or if anyone in the vehicle was injured. No one was charged.
