No one was seriously injured when a sport utility vehicle crashed and then rolled over a parked Nassau County police car late Wednesday in Hicksville, police said.

The police car was in a parking lot of a Walgreens store at South Broadway and West Old Country Road at about 11 p.m. when an SUV crashed into at least one other vehicle and then rolled onto the front hood of the police car, a police spokesman said.

The officer assigned to the car was not injured, police said.

The spokesman did not have information on any other injuries, other than to say they did not appear to be serious.
