Syosset teen reported missing, Nassau police say
Nassau County police are looking for a missing teen who was last seen on Friday afternoon in Syosset.
Police said Stephen Cherpelis, 15, was reported missing after he was spotted exiting a MercyFirst facility and walking on Convent Road about 1 p.m. He may have been heading to Floral Park, police said.
Cherpelis is 5-foot-10, weighs 145 pounds and has brown hair and eyes.
Police ask those with information about his whereabouts to call the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All calls will be kept confidential.
