Boy, 13, hit by car in Bethpage while riding bike in stable condition, police say

A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized Friday after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in Bethpage, Nassau police said.
The boy, who was not identified, was struck by a 2022 Tesla on Farmers Avenue near Stewart Avenue around 4:30 p.m., police said. The driver remained at the scene, according to police.
The teen was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said. No other injuries were reported, officials said.
