Teen's cell phone stolen on Baldwin street

A teenager walking on the street just after midnight Saturday was robbed of his cell phone by a gunman in Baldwin, Nassau police said.

The 16-year-old was headed east on Kings Parkway about 12:35 a.m. when the robber appeared with a small, black handgun and announced the robbery, police said.

After getting the cell phone, he fled in a small, two-door black vehicle.

Police have no suspects and have made no arrests.
