A woman walking on a street in Uniondale was robbed Thursday morning by two teens who stole cash and her cellphone, police said.

The victim, 34, whose identity was not released, suffered a scraped elbow in the incident but refused treatment at the scene. Nassau County police said she later went to a hospital complaining of pain.

Police said the incident occurred at 10:25 a.m. The woman was walking west on Henry Street near Locust Avenue when two teens approached her from behind -- one on foot, the other on a bicycle, police said. The two took her pocketbook, knocking the woman to the ground, police said. They stole $40 in cash and her cellphone, valued at about $300, police said.

Police are searching for the duo, believed to be 16 or 17 years old. They are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.

All calls will remain confidential, police said.
