Theft in N. Bellmore; hit-and-run in Sayville
Nassau County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking to identify and locate a man in connection with a petty larceny that occurred in North Bellmore.
At about 7:45 p.m. on Dec. 9, police say an unknown man opened a display case using a universal key and removed $250 worth of razor blades from Walgreens at 703 Newbridge Rd. He placed the items into a plastic bag and left the store without paying.

Suffolk County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking to identify and locate the person responsible for hitting a vehicle and fleeing the scene recently in Sayville.
At about 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 20, the victims were traveling northbound on Railroad Avenue in a 2003 Grand Vitara when, police say, a white pickup truck with a red plow traveling westbound struck and pushed them into a snowbank at the Montauk Highway intersection. Police say the driver approached the vehicle to check on the two victims before fleeing the scene.
