Thieves swipe cash, food from deliveryman

Three men took a man's wallet -- and the Chinese food he was delivering -- in Lakeview Friday morning, Nassau County police said.

Police said the robbery took place on Clinton Avenue at 12:30 a.m. The 27-year-old victim was not injured.

Police said when the deliveryman arrived on the block, he was met by a man, but said that shortly after the deliveryman left his car, two other men approached him from behind, threatening to use a weapon.

The men then rifled through his pockets, stealing cash, a wallet and a cellphone, police said.

The robbers also took the food the man was delivering.
